Brief History of WORLDWING
During the early year of Showa, our founder, Matasaburo NOGUCHI,
privately operated a sheet metal processing business in and around Tokyo area,
offering his intrinsic skills as a roofer for Shinto Shrines and Temples.Since then,
our company acting in concert with the developments of Japanese Industry has grown into its present form.
History
November,1943
Company originally founded as Toyohashi Sheet Metal Seisakusho Co.,Ltd.
in Toyohashi, Aichi-Prefecture. Under military contracts,Parts for wireless
communication sets were manufactured.
December,1952
The original company was dissolved and a new limited partnership company,
Chuo Press Kogyosho, was established in Tokyo.
During, 1955
New business commenced with Tokyo Radiator Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. With
original press die and power press know-how as the nucleus,Participated
in the manufacturing of automotive parts.
November,1968
A new factory was established at the present site, Fujisawa,Kanagawa-Prefecture.Commenced business under the name of Chuo Press Co.,Ltd.
During, 1975
New business commenced with NSK-Warner Company Ltd.With heavy emphasis
on rationalization, the production activities were begun with facility
modernization and a through-production commencing from press die designing.
August,1980
The company's signboard was changed to WORLDWING Co.,Ltd. At the same time,
a new President, Takashi NOGUCHI, was appointed.In order to meet the rapidly
changing era, the company strive for an enriched substance of business
with importance placed on safety and quality control.
November,1989
A second new factory was established at Fukuroi,Shizuoka-Prefecture.Commenced business of Automatic Transmission parts NSK-Warner.
November,1997
Awarded the Certificate of Quality System Standard ISO9002,for the manufacture
of press products, by DET NORSKE VERITAS.
